Message delivery delay

I service a CP 150 and customer complains that some times messages are not delivered till they are 24/ 48 hours old.
Any ideas the forum has is greatly appreciated.

Make sure the General Delivery mailbox is not full

You need to check all mailboxes and see which ones need to have messages deleted, memory is cumulative among all active mailboxes which will slow down message delivery when near capacity.

everything above is correct, however is 20+ years this is the most common vm complaint. In the end delayed vm delivery that cant be traced to improper programming means get ready to deal with it or replace system, you are on a limited time basis for it to continue to work. That may be from today to 10 years but at any point it could fail.

You can run a report of mailbox usage to see the culprit if the GD seems ok.
