Hello,

HELP! Some of my emails in Outlook Express are unreadable. The message in the body of the email is titled 'Message could not be displayed' then reads on 'Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again'

Now the emails that have this problem dont show any consistency. They are all from different people and some have attachments and some dont. I can still read all my other emails.
I have reconnected to my POP3 account. I do not have an IMAP account it is just POP3. I have removed and re-added this account but no joy. I have checked all the settings in accounts and everything is ok. The memory and disk space is fine.
I am desperate, I am flying to France and need to have this sorted, and any help here would be very much appreciated.

Message could not be displayed.
Outlook Express encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) e-mail account, and your connection to this account is dropped.

RESOLUTION

Sorry meant to also say looks like you need to set up a IMAP account.....I would at least try anyway.

How do I setup an IMAP account?

Many thanks
