I've just migrated our Avaya ip-office manager and our voicemail pro from a 2003 to a 2008 R2 server.
Everything seems to be working fine (I exported and imported the settings from ip-office manager and voicemail pr.
But where on the previous server employees could press the "messages" button on the Avaya phone to go to their voicemail box this isn't working anymore.
Also the recorded voicemail messages aren't working anymore either. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Max.

I am assuming you restarted vm service after you imported the files. Check under VM tab in Manager and make sure Visul VM button in unchecked.

Also if you imported all the VM wav files over to new server. You may need to go into a persons VM and see if the greeting there and just not activated.

VM Pro defaults to intuity mode, you were probably using IP Office mode previously

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

If the old VM Server is still accessable then use the VM Client to pull a full backup and make a registry backup with the tool found on the VM Pro installation software.
Then restore all settings on the new server, first registry while VM Server is turned off and then do a restore using the VM Client.
Easier as searching all settings if you are not familiar with them.
