Message button on the 5410 and 5420 not working

Does anyone have any idea why my 5410's and 20's have message buttons that don't function? *17 gets me into VM Pro and I can collect messages but the button on the phone just doesn't want to work!!! I have source numbers and everything set up but it won't do anything when I press message on the phone....says it's "conn" but nothing!!! Help a brother out please!!! I just know this is going to be a stupid little thing!!!

If it is saying connected, then it might be a voicemail pro problem, not a phone problem. Is it the same two phones everytime?

Does it work if you push the Message button twice? If it does then its a firmware problem.
