Message box automatically closing

Hopefully a simple problem, but it's driving me crazy! For some reason all of my message boxes in any vbscript I create are automatically closing on my system. Even a simple "Hello World" script will pop up with the message box and close a second later. Has anyone else encountered this and been able to resolve it?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Never heard of that before. But have a look at the link below, maybe you have a setting to "Stop script" after x number of seconds.

Can you post us at least your code to understand what really happened with you ?

Check your keyboard for stuck keys (eg a book on the enter key on the numeric keypad)

Thanks for all the replies. It wound up being what guitarzan mentioned. Somehow my script host settings got changes to shut everything down after one second. Thanks VERY much as it was truly driving me nuts!
