Mesage Looping on Exchange 2000

I am working on a network with an Exchange 2000 server. A user keeps receiving the same copies of three separate e-mails from the same addresses. I am unsure as to whether the mail is looping locally on the exchange box, or is being received repeatedly for an external source. How can I tell? There follows an extract from the message-tracking centre. If this is local how can I be rid of it?
