We had an OTM system attached to the switch. One of the girls in the office logged into mermail using the terminal in OTM. The machine has since been removed, but she did not log out of Mermail. Does anyone know how to reset this terminal session so that we may once again access our Mermail system? I though about rebooting the switch, but that seems extreme.

Thank you!

WHAT OPTION, IF IT'S 11C TYPE AX THEN DO ^R, THAT SHOULD BRING YOU BACK TO A SCREEN SO YOU CAN START BACKING OUT

It is 11c, but when I type "AX", the system only responds with OVL406.

What would happen if you were to disable/remove the TTY that's using the session? (Question directed to everyone, not ciware) At that point would it technically be using the link?

What about disabling/reenabling the AML after hours or something? I know I had this problem once a long time ago and I had a workaround for it, but I can't seem to remember what it was.

If OTM was connected through IP-PTY port you will have to INI, it connected through serial port - connect that port to a terminal at the correct speed 8/n/1 and then you can use the "cntl ]" to exit mermail from that port.

That's what we ended up doing. I just connected a laptop to the TTY port directly on the switch. MerMail came right up and I was able to close the session.

Thanks to everyone for the help!
