I administer a 4 node Meridian Mail release 13 system. The MMP40 HEX display for Nodes 1, 3, and 4 shows a normal "A" display, but Node 2 is showing an "E". I cannot find anywhere in the Nortel documents what "E" stands for, other than the fact that Nortel provides codes from 0 thru 9, and A thru F. The system is working fine, but I'm curious to know what "E", especially when "B" means minor software error, "C" means Node is out of service, and "D" indicates in-service trouble. I could reboot the Node and watch the
hex displays but that would mean a late night maintenance window.

All the nodes show "In-Service" with no "faulty" or "OutSv" counts. Storage shows all above 80% "Text" and 130+ "Voice" storage left. The majority of the SEER message is for "Non-User forwarded to VM". The system looks pretty good. Maybe the LED display on the MMP40 is broken? I'd hate to call Nortel ETAS and get charged just to find out what the code is.
