Merlin Voice Mail Hanging Line 3

My Merlin Messenger is hanging on to outside calls, if answered by it, for about 60sec after the caller hangs up. it doesn't seem to do this with inside calls/tranfers. it will take the line off hook long enough to get the "if you's like to make a call..." and record that. Anyone have an idea how to fix that.

Make sure TT/LS/Disc under Lines/Trunks, LS Disconnect - is set to "Yes".

Make sure your carrier actually provides disconnect supervision!

There some simple test you can make to prove this one way or the other.

Some carriers do, some don't. Some are in the PHONE BUSINESS, and others just think they are.
