I recently installed a 100D module with 20 lines of voice with Megacom DNIS (2-way DID). My configuration is 2 digit extensions, and the system is Merlin Legend r7.??

In order to allow for calling out on the T1, I have configured 1-20 as a Tie Trunk (and are pool 890), and 21-24 as unassigned. With it configured as a Tie, how can I delete digits for DID? I'm suppose to recieve 4, and delete two, but since the trunks are in a Tie trunk, I can't figure out how to have them a member of a DID block as well, so I could trim the number to send it to a 2 digit extension. Is this possible, or do I need to reconfigure the system to something other than 2 digit?

In a Legend, you are strapped to receive whatever you get from the provider. If you need two digits have them send two. The last two will be sent when the number is dialed. Example, DID is 444-1245, and sendind two digits, Legend sees 45, and routs the call to extension 45. Another option is of course, send 3 or four digits, and renumber accordingly, usually with a T-1 you should be using at lest 3 digits anyway.
