I am working on a Merlin Magix 4.0 with messaging. The system had been administered by another company but that tech passed. They have a second call group 771 that answers specific calls. That being said there were two call coverage groups, 29 that has members of call group 771 and 30 for everyone else. Calls are answered by AA immediately and zero out to reception. after several rings then primary coverage thru group 1 rings a second extension, they continue to ring until answered. Problems I have fixed so far were that members of group 30 were covering to group 29 instead of voicemail. I removed group members and placed them back into the group and coverage to voicemail resumed working. Now there are still calls that ring group 29 members and their display reads return voicemail and an extension. I believe these are calls to the reception that are ringing back to voicemail, I have set return to voicemail and system transfer return high, but how do I stop return to voicemail on reception group ringing group 29? Do the two groups need separate coverage paths both set to group 770?
