Merlin REN

Can anyone tell me what the REN requirements are for a Merlin (any of them) might be? Is it fair to assume that regardless of what the CO line is capable of, the phones connected to the KSU itself determine how many can be connected before the REN is exceeded (assuming an infinite number of available ports)?

The ringing to the telephone sets is generated by the Merlin itself - so the REN of the Merlin to the telephone line is 1.0, no matter how many telephone extensions are programmed to ring.
