Merlin MML 007 Setup

Just installed a MML007 with Merlin Legend. Figured out that port 7/extension 48 in the RMD access. Called the main number and transferred myself to extension 48. Got a menu that I am unsure out navigate through. Trying to set this up for the first time. Can someone help with the next steps?

You can't set it up from the modem - you can only pull reports and run diagnostics on the hard drive.

All programming and setup is done through the System Administrator's mailbox, 9997

- look for Merlin Mail, which programs the same as the 007MLM

If this is a "used" 007 MLM module, then I would connect the way you did. Enter the 6-digit serial# as the password - when prompted; choose shutdown from the menu - and after the menu has reloaded, press the escape key once to get a 1D> prompt; then type "init" - confirm that you want to reinitialize the system. This will return the module to factory specs and wipe out all existing programming - so you can start with a clean slate. After it finishes, the menu should reaapear. If it does not, type MM to see it and choose choice A for restarting the voicemail. Then do what TouchToneTommy suggested - all programming is done throught the admin mailbox using a regular phone.
