How would i set up a phantom voice mail box to be transfered to, from auto attendant using the prompts?

Create a mailbox, using whatever extension number you want, and after you press 1 to create it, press 6 to define it as "without a phone". As long as the selector code that matches the 1st digit of the extension number is set to Direct Extension Transfer, the caller only needs to dial the extension number to reach the mailbox.

However, if you have answered a call on your phone, you CAN'T transfer the caller to the mailbox, because the phone system doesn't know that the mailbox exists in the voice mail. So, you should also renumber an adjunct to that extension number, and add it to the Voice Mail Coverage Group.

Can you have the selector code go directly to the mailbox?

Yes, just use SELECTOR CODE TRANSFER.

That will do it.
