I couldn’t find much information about this feature. I understand that I would assign an IP address to the voicemail system. Is that all I need to do and its done? Then anyone can access their voicemail via their browser?

Is anyone out there using this feature?

Would I be able to save voicemails as .WAV?

The last time I implemented this was with an Avaya Web communications server (running FreeBSD). At that time the mail server had to be IMAP and not POP3; the voice mail was sent as a .WAV attachment to an email message to the mailbox owner. Once received, you can do whatever you want with the attachment, i.e. play it over your speakers, forward it to the FBI, etc.

It's pretty straightforward. ipaddress, and the interface comes up allowing you to loginto your mailbox, and then if you want to hear or record messages, you can select an extension to do the recording/listening. It's pretty cool, AND IT'S INCLUDED WITH NO EXTRA FEE!! This alone makes it a novelty. TipHelp@charter.net

One more question. Does anyone know what version this feature became available? Also, is there a way to remotely determine the version of a system, without looking at it?
