I just installed a merlin messaging 3.0 into a magix 3.0 system. It is working fine except that the time stamp does not work. The date is correct, but the time stays at whatever we set it to and never moves! This voice mail should read the time from the switch (which shows the correct time), but it does not.
Any ideas, or do you think we just have a bad messaging card?
Thansk.

There is actually a "clock" chip on the messaging - it checks time with system time on a regulat basis - but not continuously. Sounds like the clock chip may be bad. If you login to the messaging via the RS232 port - use tech1000 as the login name, and the admin mailbox password. Choose error logs from the main menu - and see what they show.
