Merlin Messaging R3 MAC address

Does anyone know where I can find the MAC address for the Merlin Messaging system (R3). I have a customer with an active directory network and he tells me that he needs a MAC address in order to give me a static IP for the Messaging system.

I think it's 10.1.1.10 by default, I could be wrong though. you might want to connect to it with a laptop and the software for messaging and it should give you that info.

That is an IP address. I can find that ok. I need the Machine Address Code for the network adapter.
It should be a unique number for each network adapter.

Not sure if this is usful but

For win2000
If you can find the IP address try to open a DOS window and type ipconfig /all
that will show IP and MAC address

Howd you find the IP address of the Merlin?

I connected to the RS232 port with hyperterminal. Thats where you go to set the IP address for the Messaging module.
