Merlin Messaging R1 cutting off

Anyone have an issue with Merlin Messaging R1 (Magix R1) cutting off when trying to retrieve messages (both internally and externally). It is just happening at (3) stations out of (30). I have tried deleting/recreating the extensions and even tried resetting the whole mail and starting from scratch, but the same (3) phones still have issues when trying to retrieve messages (sporadically). Is their anything left to try other than replacing the mail?? The customer is just out of warranty and won't be happy with that option.
 
If it is the same tree phones that have this problem, maybe the issue lies with the phones. Swap the phones with different ones and see if the issue clears. worth a shot.
 
I have the exact same problem.I have hundreds of systems out there I have installed and never have seen this. Hope someone can help.

it is not the phones, they have been swapped. Also, it happens both when checking messages internally and externally. I have even tried changing their ports to see if that would erase the issue. It did not.
 
you are correct its not the phones.In my case if the customer gets cut off while retrieving a message they can hang up dial back in and get the whole message
 
sounds like the same exact issue. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to fix it without replacing the whole voicemail?
 
I've had similar issues on the early Messaging releases. Except for 1 case where the unit had to be swapped out, just recreating the mailboxes solved the issue.

You might try a reset save translations (998973738). You can also try removing those exts. from voice mail and programing three exts. that are not being used in those spots and then program your exts. back in voice mail. Its worth a try. I'd do the reset save trans. first.
 
This isn't much help, but this was in the manual.

PROBLEM: System terminates recording of name, greeting, or message
before user finishes.
Possible Cause Corrective Action
Recording may have reached
the time limit set for it.
Be sure the recording does not
exceed the time limit, then
re-record it.
Speaker’s voice sounded like
a Touch-Tone digit.
Re-record the message.
