Quick question guys. I've been trying to cross reference a Merlin Messaging module I bought at an auction to determine what release it is. The comcode is 108253683 with a PEC code 517A49. It's for a merlin legend and not magix. Also, if this is a release 1 does it require a port license? Thanks.

A" in the 517A49 should be release 1. All of them require a port license to work unlike merlin legend mail.

Cool. Thanks for the quick response guys

Interesting. I guess it has been too long. I thought all messaging versions required a port card. Good refresher.

It's been a while for me too but it definitely didn't need a port card. What I discovered though was replacing a MLM 007 with Merlin Messaging the processor has to be a release 7. It seems that the older processors don't have Rotary Enable option.
