I have a customer that has an issue where, intermittently voicemail messages in her mailbox will get cut off very near the beginning of the message. However, after that message has been flagged as an old message rather than a new message she is able to listen to the entire message. We tried deleting and readding her mailbox with no change. Any ideas?

System is Merlin Magix with Integrated Merlin Messaging. Not sure of software levels, but i can find out if its important.

Is it happening to only 1 extension or multiples [ponder]

If it's an R2.5, I've had this issue multiple times and it was always the same user. You could try deleting and recreating the mailbox to fix. I have had that fix the issue.

Only 1 extension. the person this is happening to is going to check with the rest of the office. But this is not the kind of business that would tolerate it if they thought their vm messages were getting cut off.

Is the user experiencing this issue using a speakerphone by chance?

If so, there could be some ambient noise getting picked up that sounds like the POUND Sign. Thus, the VM thinks they want to skip to the next message.

Just a thought.....
