Merlin Messaging MB not answering 1

I have a customer site with Magix R4 & Messaging R4.
Have multiple mailboxes on system.
there are a couple of mailboxes that are not answering.
I have hecked the coverage to make sure that the group coverage is programmed correctly, it is.
I checked the mailbox programming to see if it was set up as a xfer only mailbox, it is not.

What is happening is that someone will call the extension and it will ring 3 to 5 times then xfer to the receptionist phone.

The group cover delay is set to 3 rings and there is no primary or secondary coverage receiver.

I just cannot figure out why the mailbox will not answer since the programming "appears" to be ok.

I would start by printing out the Extensions to see if they have such things as Coverage Off programmed.

That is probably what it is, or???
 
Yes, I though of that and checked it, but it is turned on.

Sometimes on the Merlin, the extension is in the correct coverage group, but the system doesn't see it or recognize it.
Delete the extension from the coverage group and add it back in.
 
Are the numbers that you are trying to reach being reached through the AA? If so, do you have a selector code programmed for direct extension transfer that matches the extension series? (Selector Code 1 for 100 series, Selector Code 2 for 200 series, etc.?) Each needs to be set for "direct extension transfer".

sorry for the delay, I have been out of town.
Removing then adding it back into the coverage group fixed the problem.
