Merlin Messaging loosing AA Greeting

Customer has a Merlin Magix w/ Merlin Messaging R2.5. Has been installed and running for about a month and this is the second time I've been called regarding this issue.

It seems that for whatever reason, the Day AA1 greeting that they record disappears and it reverts back to a test greeting that I had on it when I had staged it. Oddly enough the night greeting is fine. They can re-record and it's fine for a while. The first time this happened was 1-4-08. It just happened again today.

Has anyone run across this issue before? I've had them crash completely from HDD issues, but never loose recordings and/or revert back to an old recording.

I have had a similair issue where a new voicemail user recorded their greeting and it not only recorded it for their mailbox, but it also started playing it for the Day greeting. I had them re-record the Day Greeting and haven't heard from them since, but I am 100% positive that the user wasn't mistakenly in the Attendant menu. There must be some sort of glitch with this- unfortunately I don't have the solution.

Sounds like the hard drive software has glitches/sector errors, etc. I would think about replacing the drive with a fresh software load. What you describe is not normal - or typical.
