on a legend system setup with merlin messaging release 1.1,
ive got two groups set up , 770 is the integrated VMI group and covers coverage group 1 which contains all the extensions, 771 is a group containing extensions 10 and 14 which are at the front desk, when we call 771 (set to circular hunt) it rings 10 then 14 then 10, but voicemail will never pick up for either extension, we tryed setting a mailbox for 771, also 10 and 14, but voice maill will pick up none of the, you can dial 10 or 14 directly and it will then pickup when not answered, what we want is for when
someone calls in and presses selecter 0 or a timeout it transfers to group 771 then should ring 10 and 14 and if neither answers voicemail should pickup and answer either for one of their mailboxes or a general mailbox. whaaat am i doing wrong? sorry if its confusing im relatively new to these systems.

You probably need to go to Extensions, More, Group Calling, Overflow. Then put in 771 as the group, and have it overflow to 770. For Number Based Overflow, set it to 99, and Time Based Overflow, set it to how long you want the call to ring before covering to Voice Mail (usually about 20-30 seconds.) And, of course, make a mailbox 771 in the Merlin Messaging.
