Merlin Messaging/CKE4 1

Question is this! Will a Merlin Messaging 4.0 work on a Merlin legend 6.0 with a CKE4 processor. One book says one thing the other says something else. Thank you in advance

You should update your processor - all the way to Magix R4.0, V7.0 - if you have no ATL style modules in the system. Otherwise, to Legend R7.0, V14.2

It will not, as it needs to have the ability to "Rotary Enable" the voice mail ports for auto attendant transfer. That feature did not com out until R 7.

Merlin Messaging, ANY RELEASE, WILL NOT WORK on LEGEND 6.0.

Because.....The Voice Mail Ports must be ROTARY ENABLED.

That feature was not available until LEGEND Release 7.

It is available in ALL MAGIX releases.
