Merlin Messaging R4.0 Delay Announcement Service. When DAS plays a message for a caller in queue it can only be played in English. Why did AT&T/Avaya elect to not be able to make this message Bilingual? This cannot be changed.

Well, you can always make the English version followed by Spanish in the same recording. Or, however you want to do it.

Yes, this is exactly what I did. I was just curious why Avaya chose to make the Delay Announce Message English only. All other message can be bilingual.

If all you want is Spanish, you can choose that as the Main language. As far as "Why they chose...." it would have to do with the cost of development and implementation.

They wouldn't even spend an Extra 50 Cents to give us a faster modem speed. So can tell you how thrifty they were.
