Merlin Messaging 4.0 setup - IP Address, Group Assignment

I'm am new to the whole Magix system but slowly teaching myself how to program the system. First of all, how do I find the IP address of the messaging system to use the PC messaging admin?

Also, how to I assign group 770 for example to be my voice mail system access group?

The default IP Address and Gateway should be: 10.0.0.42

So you need to configure your PC to be IP Address: 10.0.0.43, Sunbet Mast: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 10.0.0.42 - then connect from your PC Lan port to the Messaging LAN port using a LAN Crossover cable (which should have come with the Messaging module).

If you need to change the Messaging IP address - you need to connect to the RS-232 port on the Messaging vias a 355AF adapter from a PC COM1 port and use Hyperterminal to login and make changes
