Merlin Messaging 2.5 on Legend 3.1

Customers 3rd party vm w?analog integration died. We put a 2.5 we had in. It answer, takes messages in the correct MBXs but it won't transfer. It hears the digits you dial but and sounds like it transfers (you hear ringing) but you don't go anywhere. And the message lights won't go on.

HELP!

Merlin Messaging used Rotary instead of DTMF to signal to the Legend. You must program the voice mail port extensions as "Rotary Enabled", so that the Legend will recgonize what it is dialing.

However, this isn't an option until Legend Release 7

So, your options are to upgrade the Legend processor, replace the Merlin Messaging with an 007MLM, or some other 3rd party VM outboard on T/R ports.
