Well worked for 2 years now it crashes. The indicator LED went out on the 007 MLM. It was sudden and went out with a power down and repower on the system. Not a surge just power turned off then back on. any suggesrions?

First off, we kinda' need to know how many carriers you have.

But, if you only have one, then I would suggest the following:

Power Down

Remove the MLM-007

MAKE SURE (IF YOU HAVE ONE) THE EXPANSION PORT IS SEATED WELL in the MLM-007, AND MAKE SURE the HD (The DOOR on the side) is seated well also.

Replace the MLM-007

- THEN -

MAKE SURE THE MODULE ITSELF IS SEATED WELL.

Then POWER BACK UP.

If it works, then GREAT!

If not, you may need to contact someone for help.

The MLM-007 has an uncanny ability to decide that it's HARD DRIVE is too corrupt to reboot.

Hopefully, that is not your issue.

Good Luck.

It could be that the antique hard drive in the 007 MLM has "died". If the steps Merlinman outlined above fail - then you will probably need a replacement hard drive - and unfortunately have to reprogram the 007 MLM from scratch. You could try a couple repetitions of powering the system down - and rebooting - to see if you can revive the 007. Hopefully - you had a surge protector on the system - otherwise - there could be other damage.
