Merlin Mail R3 problem

I have a Merlin Mail R3 two-port system that I just dusted off and am trying to use for a Legend switch at a remote site. I am able to connect it to a VM port on my 012 and get it to answer but don't have any clue what the extension and password is for administration.

Does anyone know of any way to zero out the mailbox and password info on this unit and reset it to factory default.... I don't care about any of the mail messages that might be on the thing (since it is over 2 years since it has been used).

Thanks, I tried that thread but none of the suggestions worked, not even the serial number.

I wound up having to simply try 3 passwords, get disconnected, call back and try 3 more... took about 15 minutes but I finally got it.
