Merlin Mail r3 password reset 1

I have a customer who purchased a used legend system. When I try to log in as the system administrator, the password doesn't work. I can log in as 9997, and password 123456. When I press 9 to admin the system and it asks for my password. All the default passwords I know do not work. How can I reset this password. Any way to reset the mail to factory default.

Go above where it says SEARCH and click advanced search, and type in merlin mail reset, and choose all words and just my Forums.

It's pretty easy find if you are willing to look for it.

Is it legend mail? If so, the last 6 digits of the V/M serial number as the password. System will log you off. Then power cycle system. That will default the password. Not sure on resetting the entire system.

Most of the time, if they used 123456 for the first password, they used 654321 as the 2nd password. All too common. Just another reason to be conscientious about changing passwords.
