Merlin Mail Question on a Magix

I have an extension that has an outside line assigned to it and it only. I have set up the VM, but when you call in it from either internal or external it does not go to VM. When I call the VM (as though I am going to check it) it appears to be set up and working adn all the recordings are there. But calls are not directed there. What did I not do when setting it up?
 
You need to add the extension to voicemail coverage using Winspm or the programming console telephone: Menu, System Prog, Start or Exit depending upon release, Extensions, More, Grp Cover, Enter group number (this is usually set-up as group 30, but could be anything between 1-30), enter the extension number and choose enter. Now call it and see if it covers to voicemail.
