Merlin Mail - Help

Is there any way that I can utlize a laptop and hyper term into the merlin mail and find out the password to program the system. We were left with this sytem and no information on the password or how to program it. Please help I am in dire straits.

try to use the serial Number of the unit, thats what I did and it worked.

did you hyper term in and if you did what was your baud rate, data bits, parity rate, stop bit, and flow rate. And thank you so much for all your help.

The serial number trick is not done with hyper term. just intercom to the mail and enter 9997# and for the pasword enter the serial number. The mail should say goodby tern off mail when mail reboots the password will be reset.
