Merlin Mail help please 1

Hi Everyone,

Whenever you reset or create a new voicemail box the defauly password is set to 123456. How do you change that default password so that any new mailboxes created or reset will have a different 'default' password? Please let me know and I appreciate the help.

Actually, the default password is nothing but the POUND Sign (#).

There is NO default password.

Upon the first login to a mailbox, you will be prompted "Your Password is too short. It must be changed. Passwords can be from X to 15 digits in length. Please enter new password and pound sign"

This is because the password does not exist!

That's why simply # (or any combination of numbers and #)will let you in the 1st time.

So, set whatever you want to use during that initial login.
