How many Merlin Magix Expansion units can go on my Merlin Magix System?
Will there be any ps problems with the system?

Technically, it's two: The main unit plus two expansions. If you need more station density, the best approach is to replace something like a 412TDL card (if possible) with a 024TDL card. There's plenty of programming to follow, but you can get 'er done. I've had several MAGIX customers with over 200 extensions. Note that I'm assuming the total number of extensions is the root of your question.

To the other question: If you're running a true MAGIX with metal carrier, then power isn't an issue. If it's a plastic Legend--whether it's been upgraded to MAGIX software or not--then post back about which power supplies are in each carrier. They should be reviewed before further expansion.

In theory, I'd be willing to bet that TTT is correct. That would be if you used only low density cards. However, I've never tried it, and don't have all it would take in my lab to try it either.

By "low density" I mean as long as the TRUNK count didn't exceed 80 Ports and the Station count didn't exceed 200 Ports. Of course, anything past those numbers just wouldn't be seen by the processor, as we have seen in some installations with just 2 Expansion units.

So, what would we call this? - How 'bout FrankenMagix?
