is there a free download for pc-based system admin for older avaya systems like the magix/legend?

Thanks - I downloaded the file and through reaseach I think i can connect to the system when I get on site. The primary reason I need to access the system is to verify how the PRI is configured. The info I need is:
NI2 or 5E (I believe it is 5E)
ESF (yes or no)
B8ZS ( yes or no)
# of incoming digits (with DID I think it should be 4 but would like to confirm prior to doing any work on the system).

Is WinSPM a good tool for doing this or can I do via an admin. telset?

You can admin from the Operator console, but you can't pull reports which will make it much easier to figure out what is already set in the system. Magix does NOT do NI2, it is only 4ESS, 5ESS, DMS-10, or DMS-100. ESF/B8ZS is preferred.

There is a Merlin forum here: where you can get better responses, as well as go to the FAQ section for a job aid on setting up a PRI on a Magix.

The more I read, the more I confuse myself. I am coming from Nortel world and to launch system admin I connect my pc to phone system (bcm) via lan cable/port. Is this similiar with WinSPM? As I read through sites it seems I have to connect via my modem port and dial in even if I am onsite? Is this only if I don't have a 012 or 016 card? Thanks
