Merlin Magix with ETR 1

Weird problem... Magix 3.0 with ETR boards & MLS sets in Key mode
line 5 if not answered on the 3rd ring is going to the mailbox for x21 & I can't figure out why
this line rings on x21 but no one has ownership of the line- I was thinking of setting up line ownership to an unused ext w/o vm coverage
Any ideas???

If it only rings on 1 extension it will cover to that ext Vm. you may want to put it on another phantom ext and give it principal user and see if that helps.

Lines without a Principal User will cover to the lowest logical ID that both has the line with ringing and voice mail coverage.

You're on the right track - assign the line to an adjunct, make that adjunct the Principal User of the line, and of course do not put the adjunct in the voice mail coverage group.

That did the trick- I assigned it to an unused ext, made it the principal user & set the group cover rings for 9

What's weird is that they have had this setup for years & they just noticed it now!! Go figure!!
