Merlin Magix Voicemail

We have an employee that left the company. We no longer weish to have a voicemail set up on his phone. Right now the call goes to voicemail, if it doesnt forward to administrative team. We want to set up his line so that it only rings and forwards to administrator. Basically, erase the option for the caller to leave a message.Is that possible at all?
 
If you delete the mailbox, it will ring the extension and then transfer the caller to the reception phone. You could do that.
 
ok thanks...but how do i delete the mailbox altogether? I am looking through the manual, and not finding the steps.
 
Depends on the type of voicemail. Dial voicemail and press *7, listen to what it says (welcome to merlin mail, merlin messaging, etc). Repost which voicemail you have.
 
You need to log-in as the adminstrator (the same way you log-in to record your attendant greetings) then choose option 2 off the menu for extensions. It will ask you to enter an extension, enter the extension you wish to delete and then press *d. It will then ask you to confirm deletion by pressing 9.

so when i delete the ext, once someone calls that ext, it will forward to reception line. will i be able to reenstate it if needed later in time?
Also, when i place a call from that line, what # would show up on the caller id ? ( for example)
 
For the 2nd part of the question, it would mostly depend on what path the outgoing call takes (POTs line, PRI/ISDN port....)

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
