I have an issue with calls being recieved at our auto attendant once the extension is dialed it rings once on the destination phone then goes to a different extension. I haven't been able to figure out the problem any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Check that the extention dialed - has no forwarding buttons to other extentions. Also, their may be cover buttons programmed on other extentions for the one in question. The extention may also not be included in the voice mail cover group (usually 30) - and so is bouncing to another phone or the operator for coverage.

Calls to an extension with coverage buttons on other phones....calls don't stop ringing at the original extension when cover buttons start to ring. This would be an indication of call forward, which would stop the ring at the original extension. Simplest thing would be to go to the original destination extension, pickup intercom or system access, dial #33 and this extension number to cancel call forwarding. (if that is indeed the problem) Another possibility would be the voice mailbox for the extension has a class of service that says supervised transfer, and for some reason the voice mail is not seeing the phone, and pulling the call back...
