HELP??!!?? How do you do this? I have an office with a Merlin Magix and some of the employees want to set up a Personal Speed dial list.

Here's the instructions I sent them, but they say it's not working. Do they have to have an actual button to program?

Programming
1) Press "FEATURE * 00"
2) Press # 0 1 (01, 02, 03, 04 all the way to 24 personal speed dial numbers)
3) Enter the number you want saved (i.e.9 555 1234)
4) Hang up

Dialing
1) Press "FEATURE * 01" to dial (the first number in your list, 02 for the 2nd number, and so on)

Thank you,
Marcy

For a 4406D+ telephone:

To program your Personal Speed Dial numbers, make a list of
your telephone numbers/extensions numbered 1 to 24, then:
Press an Intercom button + lift handset + dial #00 + dial # + list number (01 to 24) + dial *21 + the number you want to store + #*00.

To use Personal Speed Dial:
1: Press an Intercon button.
2: Press Feature (if you have programmed a "Feature" button) or #.
3: Dial the two-digit code (01 to 24).

The 4412D+ and 4424D+ have a Personal Directory feature you can access - instead of using speed dials - it is a nicewr option because you can see the directory on the display and give names, rather than codes to the programmed numbers.
