We're about to retire our Merlin Magix... but the vendor who was maintaining it was HORRIBLE about documenting ANYTHING.

So, the system has 16 stations, and I need to know what the station to port assignment is. In other words, the first station on the card goes to what extension?

I've been digging through the manuals, but they all talk about using WinSPM, and all I have is the programming phone.

Any help greatly appreciated... I'm sure it's something straight forward... I'm just not an Avaya person. :(

Just my 2¢

If you have WinSPM, do a print of the Extension Directory.

If not, from the console phone, press Menu, Maintenance, Port, Station.

Dial #01, Enter

Press Status

This is your first extension, Logical ID #01, and slot port SSPP (probably 0101, but you may have something other than a station card in the first slot).

From here press Next, which will show your first adjunct, which you don't really care about, then press Next again to get to the next physical extension.

Continue pressing Next twice through that card, if you encounter S/L cards or Messaging, there are no adjuncts so a single press of Next will take you to the next port.
