We have Merlin Magix with PRI. When calling outbound the only caller ID reported is our main number. This also happens when an extension is forwarded to an off site phone. This is a problem for our sales department who needs to see the caller ID of the calling party. We only need a few extensions to do this and they are all mapped to DIDs - the rest we only want them to pass the main number as it does now.
We are coming due on our phone system lease this year so if Magix cannot support this what system does that I can use my installed infrastructure (4400 hand sets and copper)and ideally would allow transition to VOIP in the future. We are currently upgrading our satellite network switches to POE VOIP capable.
