DUVOICE VM is connected to a 016T/R and it is an 4 port machine and no lights are going on. The VM is sending the correct codes and the customer is only getting studder dial tone.

If you can put the codes in with a tip ring set at the DuVoice ports, and the MWI goes on, then call DuVoice. I've found them VERY helpful, ans you don't usually have to wait long. DuVoice is not Avaya.

Are the voice mail ports on the 016 card "rotary enabled"? I am not familiar with a DuVoice unit, but the ports have to be "rotary enabled" for a Magix Messaging to work correctly. I would try that. In addition, if the vm ports are in an "intergrated voice mail calling group" - you may have to unrestrict the ports - the system automatically restricts them from being able to transfer calls for security reasons. Again, that may not work correctly for a DuVoice. I would experiment with the first and last voice mail port. It is usually the last voice mail port that turns the MWL lights on and off - at least this is the case for Merlin, Legend and Magix voice mail systems.

Well, when you say the customer is only getting stutter dial tone, that tells me the customer is using SINGLE LINE SETS.

Is that correct?

If this is the case, you must understand that not all SINGLE LINE SETS have MW's that work with the Legend/Magix.

Do the MW Lights work OK on the Multi line sets?
