Merlin Magix Network PT to PT issue

Hello,

I have 2 magix r2.0 and r3.0 networked together. The main site is a 2.0 with a ds1 card and external paradyne csu. The remote site has a dcd card. The T1 is split 12 voice and 12 data. Calls from site B through dcd to main site are fine for 3 digit dialing. But site A can make multiple test calls and intermittently have dead air or sometimes hear dialtone back? No errors on the cards or processor???

Any ideas?

Possibly bad processor. Switch out the two DS1 cards and associated CSU's, and see if the problem remains. How does the data look?

It sounds more like the Trunks are not correctly "Mapped" between the 2 systems.

Like they may have a trunk in system a going to a non existant trunk in system b. Or maybe 1 or 2 too many in one system or the pool for that system.

I'd print the trunk set up and pools and see if that gives any hints.
