Merlin Magix Message Waiting Lights 1

HI,
I have a problem. We just rebuilt a Amanda Voice Mail Server and everything works great. My problem is that the phones that had messages previously are stuck with thier message waiting lights on. How do I universally turn off the message waiting lights so that only new messages are lighting it up. Thank you

One way, go to each phone and hit Menu, Messages, DELETE MESSAGE.

Under Maintaince, System, look for MWL Update. Clear all the MW lights there. There is another command to refresh the MW lights, and then you specify the voice mail calling group, but I don't know if this will work with your Amanda voice mail. Possibly, after you clear the MW lights, reboot the voice mail, and it might send new MW light on commands for those mailboxes with messages.
