Have a merlin magix/legend system set up.
Processor: Magix w/cke5
2 expansion cabinets loaded.
System has been up and running fine for 1 year.
Problem: Some of our customer's MLX telephone sets are getting "cut off" off the system every night. When they return in the morning the telephone sets have to be disconnected and then reconnected to the system in order to get recognized. Is there any info on what the problem may be? Processor? All phones seem to be coming off of the 408 GS/LS MLX Card.
Thanks in advance.

Before replacing the 408 GS/LS MLX card, try re-seating it (with power off).

I recommend doing a self test on these phones.

Intercom > speaker > *00

Turn the volume up and see what you hear.

(You can press any button to kill the bad tone)

IF you hear SNAP CRACKLE & POP you have bad wiring.

It would be a good idea to see what Module they are in, if they are all in the same module, then I would remove all but one and put them back 1 at a time to see if one of the phones is the bad guy.
