Merlin Magix ISDN-PRI

We have a Merlin Magix that we recently installed a PRI on. It works except for a alarm on the DS1 module. The error log shows protocol mismatch. The PRI is set for B8ZS, ESF & Custom. The CO is a Siemens. Should I emulate DMS100 or 5ESS. The CLEC claims the T is set for customer (NI1). Any thoughts on the cause. (I can clear the alarm on the DS1 card (100 DCD), put it returns the next day.)

Also, How can I determine if our Merlin Messaging is R3 or R4?

Siemens? - What switch?

Can they (CLEC) Emulate DMS 100 or 5Ess, then you can match.

Protocol Mis Match indicates problems on PRI side, not T1 side.

Log in as Administrator and Dial 7. (Just to the ADMIN MAILBOX)

and she will tell you when you dial 7.

I can answer only the merlin messaging question. Get into the admin mailbox, then press either 7 or *7 (I forget which), and you will hear the firmware version and then the language release version - both should be consistent - either R3 or R4. R3 will be something like 3.5.2. If it is R4, you will hear Release 4.0.1 or something like that for the firmware and R4.0 for the language release.
