Merlin Magix Coverage programming assistance

thread688-336428 I am trying to have 1 extension cover another.Basically one extension needs to in two places. this is a merlin magix 4400 series phones. can you please send the instructions for adding a PrmryCov button to an extension?i am not using Winspam, would be programming at the 4400 phone. I do also have access to the main console. Thanks!

I believe the code for coverage is *48. So, go to the phone, go off-hook and press *00. This should bring the phone into programming mode. Press the button you want to make the coverage button and then *48. It may prompt for primary versus secondary (not sure as I usually use winspm). You want primary if this is the case. Then enter the extension you will be covering and enter.

Thanks so much! I been investigating and testing myself trying all the *4X codes. and *40 ended up being a success!! Primary Cover.
call rings at both locations and goes back to the original ext vm. Thanks again!!
