Merlin Magix and extension 200 ( operator and console station ) won't dial out

I am working on my Merlin Magix and extension 200 ( operator and console station ). My receptionist tried to program her attendant console to change a name and somehow got into programming and now it will not dial out on CO lines and she can get incoming calls. What programming can I check to get her phone to dial out again ??? Any help greatly appreciated

The first thing I would check would be EXTENSION RESTRICTIONS.

At the MAIN CONSOLE Touch:

Menu > Sys Prog > Exit > Extensions > Restrictions

You will then be prompted to "ENTER EXTENSION"

Dial 200 and Press Enter.

At this point you will see a choice of 3 Things:

Unrestrited
Outward Restrict
Toll Restrict

Most likely you will see that Outward Restrict is HIGHLIGHTED.

Press Unrestrict and that should fix it.

Let us know if it doesn't

Few people realize it but there's about 10 ways you can restrict a Magix Phone.

But the one I have walked you through is the most common.

Forced account code entry. Make sure she didn't turn that on. It is under Menu-Sys prog-start/exit-extensions
