Hello TTT.

I am hoping you can help me as I am stick on an install with one issue...

I am hoping this can be done.

We have a Magix system (4.0) witha T-1 to AT&T. Everything works great.

We Installed a second 100dcd card in the system and connected it to a cisco CME system. We went into the ARS and added the extensions that would be on the Cisco side 3XX.

The T1's are fine and I can dial station to station between the Cisco's and the Magix and the Magix and the Cisco's no problem. when I dial 9+10 digits on the magix everything is fine. When I dial 9+10 digits on the cisco I get fast bisy from the magix. ( I have verified the cisco sends 11 digits (the 9 + the 10 digits) up the T1 to the Magix. I just can't get the Magix to take that call and send it out the t-1 to AT&T. I don't know how to get routing done in the Magix..

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you

Paul

Make sure: System Prog-Exit or Start- Lines Trunks- Remote Access- Non Tie- Restriction must be unrestricted to allow calling out on the Magix via CME.

Thank you for your quick response. Thit is something I overlooked. I made the changes you suggested still to no avail. I still get fast busy on the Cisco with an ISDN casue code of 1. (Fast busy from Magix)

I just get the feeling we are not routing... I can see the Cisco send the 9 + 10 digits so i know we are good to the magix...

I just don't know the Magix well enough to make sure the routing i need (If any) is done.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you

Paul

I forget where you check this on the networking of the system for Magix, but you may also have to adjust the FRL for the route coming over. It probably is set to 0 which won't allow an outside call. It needs to be set to 3.

try this:
2. Tables -> UDP Routing -> 1 -> enter -> 1 -> enter
3. -> Pool -> 890 (or whatever your pool is)-> enter
4. -> FRL -> 3 -> enter
5. -> Absorb -> 00 -> enter
6. -> Digits -> empty (try putting a 9 here)-> enter
