What are you trying to find out? If you want the extention listing - then you can connect to the processor via WinSPM and print a report for all extentions with their labels. I have no clue what you are trying to cross-connect. If you are trying to connect to the processor - to use WinSPM - there are two ways to do it. From the PC DB9 serial port to a DB25 serial adapter to a 25-pin 355AF adapter - and then a straight-thru ethernet patch cord from the 355AF adapter to the processor admin port. The other option is to plug a standard RJ11 cord into your computer modem and plug the other end into an open slot on your 016 T/R - and set WinSPM to connect directly via modem.

The 412-TDL modules and the 024-TDL Module, each use a 25 Pair Cable.

The 412's use the first 12 pairs (White Blue to Black Orange).

The 024 uses 24 Pairs, (White Blue to Violet Brown).

If, as Merlinman thinks, you are trying connect extentions to the 412 TDL and 024 TDL cards - you need to go out and buy a 25-pair cable with a male Amphenol connector at one end (one per module) - and the other end of the cable you typically connect to a wiring block - or a 24-port patch panel - following the wiring scheme Merlinman indicated. You can get the full wiring scheme out of the Magix Feature Reference and/or Installation Guide - which are available on the Avaya.com website, under support, all system alphabetical, then scroll down to Merlin Magix Integrated systems and click on all documents. You should probably download most of them - for future reference.

The 1st block is Logical ID's #01-#12, or slot/port *0101-*0112

The 2nd block is Logical ID's #13-#24, or slot/port *0201-0212

The 3rd block is Logical ID's #25-#48, or slot/port *0301-*0324

Wire single pair modulars from the 016 to the 4th block, and that is Logical ID's #49-#64, or slot/port *0401-*0416

The 5th block will connect to the 024 in Slot 7, which is Logical ID's #77-#98, or slot/port *0701-*0724

Now, go into WinSPM, go to the 2nd page and Print, Next Page, Extension Directory.

This will give you to Extension Numbers vs. the Slot/Port assignments.

Or, in Maintaince, Port, Station, (Extension Number, OR # and Logical ID, OR * and slot/port), Enter, Status, will reveal the Extension Number, Logical ID, and slot/port for any particular station.

All extentions connected to the TDL cards require only 1 pair wiring - maybe that is what you find confusing. If the phone jacks were all wired with CAT5 4-pair cable - then you have 3 unused pairs at the other end - per extention cable in the phone room. That can leave a real mess of wire.
